2026-2027 Tryouts​

It is time to host tryouts for our 2026-2027 competitive team! More information about eligibility requirements, dates and times, and your portfolio can be found below. It is highly encouraged to sign up for our Tryout Prep clinics on April 4th and 11th if you are interested in trying out!

Tryout Information:

  • Clinic

    • Saturday May 16th, 10:30a-1:00p​

    • Alpha Baptist Church - 28051 W Chicago, Livonia

    • Wear practice attire, bring a set of poms & water​

  • Final Tryout​

    • Sunday May 17th, 6:00p-9:00p​

    • Pointe Counterpointe Dance Center - 32807 Manor Park, Garden City

    • Wear black performance attire, poms will be provided

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be between the ages 17-24 years old

  • Must be enrolled in 8+ college credits

  • Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher

  • Must attend a college that does not already have a pom team affiliated with Mid American Pompon

Portfolio Information:

  • Submit the following on or before May 15th

    • ​Pre-Tryout Registration Form​

    • $20 Tryout fee via Venmo - @atomicpom

    • Coaches Recommendation Form

    • Copy of most recent High School or College Transcript, including 2.0+ GPA
